The XStream extension in HP Fortify SCA before 2.2 RC3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unsafe deserialization of XML messages.

Weakness

The product uses XML documents and allows their structure to be defined with a Document Type Definition (DTD), but it does not properly control the number of recursive definitions of entities.
