In the CSV export feature of SilverStripe before 3.5.6, 3.6.x before 3.6.3, and 4.x before 4.0.1, its possible for the output to contain macros and scripts, which may be executed if imported without sanitization into common software (including Microsoft Excel). For example, the CSV data may contain untrusted user input from the First Name field of a users /myprofile page.

Weakness

The product constructs all or part of a command, data structure, or record using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify how it is parsed or interpreted when it is sent to a downstream component.
