An issue was discovered in Mattermost Server before 4.3.0, 4.2.1, and 4.1.2. It allows attackers to gain privileges by using a registered OAuth application with personal access tokens.
The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor.
