The backup function in ABB Telephone Gateway TG/S 3.2 and Busch-Jaeger 6186/11 Telefon-Gateway saves the current settings and configuration of the application, including credentials of existing user accounts and other configurations credentials in plaintext.
The product transmits or stores authentication credentials, but it uses an insecure method that is susceptible to unauthorized interception and/or retrieval.
