GitLab 12.7 through 12.8.1 has Insecure Permissions. Under certain conditions involving groups, project authorization changes were not being applied.
The product does not preserve permissions or incorrectly preserves permissions when copying, restoring, or sharing objects, which can cause them to have less restrictive permissions than intended.
