A XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability was discovered in the modRestServiceRequest component in MODX CMS 2.7.3 which can lead to an information disclosure or denial of service (DOS).

Weakness

The product processes an XML document that can contain XML entities with URIs that resolve to documents outside of the intended sphere of control, causing the product to embed incorrect documents into its output.
