In PACTware before 4.1 SP6 and 5.x before 5.0.5.31, passwords are stored in an insecure manner, and may be modified by an attacker with no knowledge of the current passwords.
The product transmits or stores authentication credentials, but it uses an insecure method that is susceptible to unauthorized interception and/or retrieval.
