OWASP json-sanitizer before 1.2.2 may emit closing SCRIPT tags and CDATA section delimiters for crafted input. This allows an attacker to inject arbitrary HTML or XML into embedding documents.
The product processes an XML document that can contain XML entities with URIs that resolve to documents outside of the intended sphere of control, causing the product to embed incorrect documents into its output.
