An issue was discovered in Joomla! 2.5.0 through 3.9.27. CMS functions did not properly termine existing user sessions when a users password was changed or the user was blocked.
According to WASC, “Insufficient Session Expiration is when a web site permits an attacker to reuse old session credentials or session IDs for authorization.”
