The Debian courier-authlib package before 0.71.1-2 for Courier Authentication Library creates a /run/courier/authdaemon directory with weak permissions, allowing an attacker to read user information. This may include a cleartext password in some configurations. In general, it includes the users existence, uid and gids, home and/or Maildir directory, quota, and some type of password information (such as a hash).
The product specifies permissions for a security-critical resource in a way that allows that resource to be read or modified by unintended actors.
