An issue was discovered in pdftools through 20200714. A NULL pointer dereference exists in the function node::BDCNode::~BDCNode() located in bdcnode.cpp. It allows an attacker to cause Denial of Service.
A NULL pointer dereference occurs when the application dereferences a pointer that it expects to be valid, but is NULL, typically causing a crash or exit.
