In all versions of GitLab CE/EE since version 8.15, a DNS rebinding vulnerability in Gitea Importer may be exploited by an attacker to trigger Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks.

Weakness

The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination.
