The DefaultRepositoryAdminService class in Fisheye and Crucible before version 4.8.9 allowed remote attackers, who have can add repository permission, to enumerate the existence of internal network and filesystem resources via a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability.

Weakness

The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination.

Affected Software

Name Vendor Start Version End Version
Crucible Atlassian * 4.8.9 (excluding)
Fisheye Atlassian * 4.8.9 (excluding)
