Driver Distributor v2.2.3.1 and earlier contains a vulnerability where passwords are stored in a recoverable format. If an attacker obtains a configuration file of Driver Distributor, the encrypted administrators credentials may be decrypted.
The product transmits or stores authentication credentials, but it uses an insecure method that is susceptible to unauthorized interception and/or retrieval.
