The Microchip RN4870 module firmware 1.43 (and the Microchip PIC LightBlue Explorer Demo 4.2 DT100112) accepts PairCon_rmSend with incorrect values.
The product does not validate or incorrectly validates the integrity check values or “checksums” of a message. This may prevent it from detecting if the data has been modified or corrupted in transmission.
