link_to_local_path in ebooks/conversion/plugins/html_input.py in calibre before 6.19.0 can, by default, add resources outside of the document root.
The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination.
