The Import WP WordPress plugin before 2.13.1 does not prevent users with the administrator role from pinging conducting SSRF attacks, which may be a problem in multisite configurations.
The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination.
