CVE-2024-29449

An issue was discovered in ROS2 Humble Hawksbill in ROS_VERSION 2 and ROS_PYTHON_VERSION 3, allows attackers to obtain sensitive information via man-in-the-middle attacks due to cleartext transmission of data across the ROS2 nodes communication channels. NOTE: this is disputed by multiple third parties who believe there was not reasonable evidence to determine the existence of a vulnerability.
