[how] dsc recompute should be skipped if no mode change detected on the new request. If detected, keep checking whether the stream is already on current state or not.

Weakness

A NULL pointer dereference occurs when the application dereferences a pointer that it expects to be valid, but is NULL, typically causing a crash or exit.
