A null pointer dereference was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.3, iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3. A remote attacker may be able to cause a denial-of-service.
A NULL pointer dereference occurs when the application dereferences a pointer that it expects to be valid, but is NULL, typically causing a crash or exit.
