This issue was addressed through improved state management. This issue is fixed in iOS 26 and iPadOS 26. Private Browsing tabs may be accessed without authentication.
The product uses an authentication mechanism to restrict access to specific users or identities, but the mechanism does not sufficiently prove that the claimed identity is correct.
