Vulnerability in the Unified Audit component of Oracle Database Server. Supported versions that are affected are 19.3-19.27, 21.3-21.18 and 23.4-23.8. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker having Create User privilege with network access via Oracle Net to compromise Unified Audit. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Unified Audit accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 2.4 (Integrity impacts). Assuming a user with a given identity, authorization is the process of determining whether that user can access a given resource, based on the user’s privileges and any permissions or other access-control specifications that apply to the resource. When access control checks are incorrectly applied, users are able to access data or perform actions that they should not be allowed to perform. This can lead to a wide range of problems, including information exposures, denial of service, and arbitrary code execution.
